The strength of entrants this year was truly remarkable. Getting into any Lift-Off is a big deal; our judges are ruthless, so expect exceptional work at the screenings. We believe this programme is the best we have ever had in our 6-year history of screening films around the world. This is not to be missed!”

BIKINI WORDS focuses on new vocabulary, which evolved amongst factory workers during the rapid industrialisation of South Korea throughout the 1970s and 1980s in order to put names to the radically new aspects of their urbanised lives.

The film will be screened on Monday the 28th of November 2016 within the Short Programme 1 at 19:45 at Arthouse Cinema – Crouch End – 159A Tottenham Ln, London N8 9BT, UK.
