JODELEHI is a feature documentary by Swiss director Risa Chiappori. The Korean part of the film was shot by Nils Clauss in October 2013. The Swiss part will be shot by Swiss cinematographer Steff Bossert. The documentary is still in production and will be released in summer 2014.
The film focuses on a South Korean woman, who entirely integrated herself in Switzerland through yodelling. More than thirty years after she moved to Switzerland, her daughter – the director of this film – starts a mission in oder to understand her mother’s passion for and her denial of yodelling better. Throughout her journey she manages to get closer to her mom.
